Where the heck is North Carolina located?!

OK that picture is back for a reason!!!!!!!!

First off I want to quickly say that I have a job interview on Monday! YAHOO!

But tomorrow is what, March 1st am I right?! MARCH! I live where? North Carolina, right?! Then why the heck are we going to be getting 3-5 inches of snow possibly tomorrow into Monday?! WHAT THE HECK?!!!!!!!!!!! A Winter Storm Watch is in effect till tomorrow afternoon because they are expecting us to get 3-5 inches of snow! ARG! I am swear I am moving to Florida! LOL I will deal with the hurricanes rather than have to deal with SNOW in March! I hope by the end of March I won't see this happen again and I have it on my birthday! OH PLEASE! Lets not jinx the weather pattern for the end of the month! LOL

So thats about it! I hope the interview is still on and my ball class is still going to happen on Monday, but down here most likely it will not! =( I am going to have to reschedule some of these classes probably, but they are at 4 and 5 in the afternoon, so hopefully I will be done by then. I will gladly work in the morning just to have the afternoon off and not worrying about it.

I make a lousy victim!

I was going through my pictures and found that from Ripley's Aquarium this past summer. That is one huge starfish! LOL

So my poor Sadie Mae is having to go to the vet today to find out why is going on with her legs. She's 7 going on 8, but I am thinking the worse. She started limping last night and its much worse today. Its like she doesn't even want to walk at all anywhere. =( Ugh, just hate worrying about this stuff. =o(

So this week was busy yet again! LOL The whole month of February has been busy basically. But I can't complain really. I have been doing classes of like Yoga, Pilates, Dancing & Fit Ball...and enjoyed doing them. I am still doing it this month as a birthday present from my parents to go along with the massage! hehehe =) By the end of March I am going to need a massage! Hah! Last night I got a phone call at 6:05-6:10 saying there was an opening for the Yoga class and I was like woah and its what time?! But no problems I got ready and got there with 5 minutes to spare! hehehe

So Wednesday I was at Pilates and Sharon who I met at Project Linus and had said something that morning about something going on at the Community Center and at 10:00 in the morning I wasn't processing a word anyone was saying really....hell I fell off the ball during the class if that tells you anything! So she was saying the fire department and EMS was looking for people to take part in a like mock disaster and cause of a medical issue arrising lately, its like I can't drive right now and so she volunteer to give me a ride and such.

So anyways we headed to the Community Center and of course they were setting up and such, and I didn't see the wires they had set out already and as the fireman said watch-out my foot hit the wire! I wasn't looking for it! He's like you're dead already! LOL I stepped on it twice, to go along with that! LOL So getting there they had people getting make-up put on for all sorts of injuries and such. Well they needed people to be hysterical and such, so I was 1/4 of those people. But the more I thought about it the more I wish I was a victim inside cause it was COLD outside. I didn't want to hide under the table right by the front door, because the injured were all inside. Oh and get this, it was a tornado disaster drill! LOL WHAT FUN!

So when it started the 4 of us ran out to start the whole thing. I went and got into a bush. LOL I was trying to think fast on my feet! Its possible a tornado could blow you into a bush, right?! Anyways the 4 of us wound up within feet of each other. This one lady was HYSTERICAL and I don't just mean FUNNY. LOL They found 3 of us right away, not me. I was like you have looked over here right at me 5 times! LOL Plus the people walking behind me and around me, the flashlights were hitting me right and left. Finally the guy goes we have 2 in the bushes! So trying to get out of the bushes I about tripped over the roots! UGH! All I would've needed a real skinned knee! LOL

So they walked us over to the triage area, and AGAIN walking through part of the gardens there are these HUGE ASS ROOTS and I tripped over 1 again. Its just like give me a break! LOL So I got sat down at the table and by then I was shaking for the most part because I was COLD! So the lady that was going crazy was sat down next to me and like I said I am terrible at doing this kind of "acting!" When walked away I looked over at her and was laughing and so was she. Of course she wouldn't calm down and so they moved her away and they left me at the table. I was like right now I really need a blanket or a coat or something!!!!!!!

So they brought a guy over that was inside that had a head injury and I got asked finally if I was still ok and I was like yes but I am freezing cold! I was shaking to stay warm. So they brought over two blankets, and I looked down and saw a blanket made by Project Linus and it made me smile/chuckle. ;) So after a little while longer they came back over and asked me again if I was ok and I was still cold. So they suggested I move, but at that moment I had to pee!!!!!!!! I was thinking if I got up, I was going to pee my pants! But I made it to the tarp and it helped sitting next to some one, but she was like are you sure you're cold?! I was like yeah! I put off body heat, but I was cold!

So at the end of the whole thing, they moved us to the ambulance and one of the volunteer's was helping a lady up and wound up falling over onto some one else. I was gone at that moment in a laughing sense! I couldn't help it then! LOL So they were walking us over to the ambulance and I heard them say there was another tornado coming and I stopped dead in my tracks and was like why are we getting into the ambulance?! LOL I didn't stop the "acting" till I got over to where the people were standing outside the ambulance.

So we headed back into the community center to talk about the whole situation. Well guess what?! I stepped on the wires again! LOL I didn't pay one bit of attention! I died a total of 3 times! LOL =p So after pizza and such I got a ride home from Sharon and was dead to the world after that.

So thats it at the moment. Next stop, Vet's office with Sadie. =(

So all of this week on the Weather Channel they are featuring on "Storm Stories" tornadoes. Well I am very fascinated with weather and have been since I was a kid. I use to sit and watch the Weather Channel 24 hours a day, basically never changed the channel minus to Disney. LOL But this makes me think back to 1991 when I was in Kansas and there was an F5 that struck Andover and you would think after being stuck outside in that kind of storm would make you immunune to that fear, but hell whenever a Tornado Warning comes up I am as scared as I was that day. I have always hated thunderstorms and such. I still jump 5000 miles through the air when I hear thunder.

So yeah, this is the final week of the classes. =( Well my parents for my birthday are paying for me to go another month and still letting me get a massage for my birthday. (WOOHOO) After tonight, I flat out said that I wanted the massage for my birthday! LOL My legs are really sore from tonight. But the thing I have liked is that it gets more challenging each time I go and I have been better about asking questions before observing and trying to do it on my own. I did better with that part today, the only thing I have problems getting a stretch from is because of the flexibility in my hips, but some one gave me a tip and it helped.

So other than that, nothing is going on. My birthday is coming up, yay for that. I'll be 28 on March 28! LOL My grandma is coming down here on my birthday, but other than that, nothing will be going on for the most part. Maybe it will be 80 and beautiful like it was last year on my birthday. ;)

This week will be hard on my aunt and uncle that had BJ though. He would've been 15 on the 27th this month. =( Then the week of my birthday will be HELL for them too, my birthday will fall on the day of the week he died on and so it won't be pretty and plus the day after is the day they put him down.

So thats it. I am off here to go bowl on the Wii! Night!

Ow My Legs!

Ok its official after what 3 days straight of those classes I am sore and I mean sore. Like the insides of my legs down around my pelvis are sore from Fit Ball yesterday morning. And oh my gosh to learning new exercises there. There have been 2 classes a week with that and it was my first time doing both and heck I was expecting the same thing as Monday, but it was totally different! hahaha

So yesterday I went to Fit Ball in the morning and came home and called Kate to wake her up. LOL We were out late the night before and I had a hard time getting up yesterday for the class. So she got ready herself and we went to go see if we could find where Project Linus was taking place. OF COURSE we didn't find it and so we did the errands she had to do in town and for her mom. We went to eat and then headed back to her house. Well by the time we got back to her house it was 4:00 and Pilates was at 4:30! LOL So much for going back and relaxing for awhile before going. So we got changed and ran right back out the door! LOL

So Kate finally went to the classes with me again. ;) hahaha Lucky her she has a job now and she was able to go yesterday. And Pilates from last week to yesterday was totally and completely different! LOL We did alot more. This one thing it was called I think "100 breaths" it was 100 something, but basically the last part of it you brought your knees up to your chest and moved your arms up and down while breathing 5 breaths in and then 5 out 10 times a piece. And heck, I think I did more of the breathing than the arm movement! LOL I couldn't remember to do it all! LOL But my legs kept dropping down down toward the floor, and heck I didn't pay attention to that, I had them up as far as I could get them, but then the instructor came over and pushed my feet back and ugh I could feel that stretch then! LOL My aunt was like she probably was doing that to give you more stretch, I was thinking I was doing it wrong, but I laid on the floor and tried to push my legs back more myself just laying on my back and put them in the other position, and there was a difference. I have learned I've got flexibility in my hips and such the past 2 weeks. LOL All those years of gymnastics and ice skating, what can I say! ;)

So after class I went out to dinner with Kate, her parents and Kate's godfather George. It was nice and had a good meal. ;) So thats basically it. Tomorrow I am going with Kate to the Project Linus Bake Sale and UGH to having to wake up early in the morning! ;) Oh well. LOL I slept in this morning. ;)

Ok so I am out of topic ideas for the Title line can you not tell?! ;)

So I'm excited about this summer for a handful of reasons. One being that we're going back to Colorado to take Gaia out to see where she was born and such. She hasn't been there since was 2 y/o. I can't wait to go see it again! Then of course the beach is planned, possibly. Can't see doing both the beach and Colorado. LOL And then I am going to NY to go see Rent one FINAL time! hehehe I am going to the last performance on the final night of the US portion of the tour. So excited! =) Woohoo! Only 5 months to go! LOL

Speaking of Rent, I knew 2 people that went when they were in New Jersey last week. The funny part was they both had under-study's in for major roles on the days they went. One for Adam Pascal and the other for Justin Johnston. And its like is it a complaint about it?! One was upset about Adam not going on and its I'm sitting there like hello! They sing and such night after night, they are bound to be wound down at some point! Ugh! I was fortunate that everyone was a-ok when I went for the major roles, but still thats why they have under-study's!

So last weekend I spent the majority of it searching for new bedding. My parents purchased me a Queen size bed and so I have to get all new bedding and such. Why I wasn't excited at first about it, now I can't wait for the matress to get here and such. ;) I did find some and love it! Just waiting for the rest to get here. The nice part is my old quilt will still work on the new bed, but I had to get new sheets, and Bed Bath and Beyond quit making my sheets that I regularly use and ugh to that!

So yesterday was Fitness Ball again. LOL Well here's why this is funny! I was sitting on the ball like before the class started and a lady asked me why I had problems with the balls and its like I have the shortest legs known to man and I lifted one foot up to show her what happens 99% of the time and well both went up and I fell backwards off the ball! LOL It takes real talent to be me alot of the times! ;) Hah!

My 100th Post!

So this marks my 100th post since March of last year! Wow! Its hard to believe I've done 100 blog entries. Go me! ;)

Waking up this mornig to the horror of hearing about another plane crash, except this time it didn't have a happy ending. :( They have done so much to prevent ice build-up on planes since the plane that crashed in DC during a snow storm. I feel for the families of the 50 people killed. It was shocking to hear that one of the widow's of 9/11 was on board the plane. Her husband was killed in the World Trade Center. I can't imagine what their families are going through. Its kind of eerie they were both killed as "result" of a plane crash. You just hope that their wasn't any fear of much knowledge of what was happening. If that is to ever happen to me, I hope the fear is overcome with peace before I can think again.

Well thats basically it. I went to Greensboro today with my dad. Didn't have any of my classes tonight, which was odd after going 4 days straight. ;) Looking forward to them next week though. hahaha

Is it spring or winter?!

I swear I wonder about the weather here anymore. Its 75 here today, but we're suppose to get storms tonight, but still how messed up can the winter be?! Its awesome though, I love this kind of weather, but during the winter, I like it colder, but I have seen enough snow for the year, I'll tell you that much. ;)

I swear I've had a headache for like no apparent reason everyday this week. I blame the weather! LOL Either that or stress!

So this week Kate and I have been trying classes a place here in Seven Lakes, fitness ball, dance fitness, pilates and yoga. I was sore from Fitness Ball monday though, I tell you that much. Last night we did the dance one and hell I learned 2 new dances, even though I felt like I had 2 left feet at points. LOL It didn't too long to learn, but mentally you were overloaded in a sense! LOL Its fun though, go exercise! ;) So today I am going alone to the Pilates class cause Kate starts her training today and so I am taking her place today and tomorrow. I've never done Pilates, so it will be interesting to see what it is. ;)

So thats it. Nothing else is going on. Just watching a movie and filling out job app's, hoping and praying something will some up eventually there. ;)

A terrible weekend for the most part...

One final day of snow being on the ground. It's gone now, but that was the final picture of it. =(

So this weekend was one of hell, for the simple fact of thinking/feeling that my parents rather put me out on the street and get rid of me for good. I honestly still feel like they don't care either way. My mom had the nerve to call my brother last night and ask him if I could come there. Its like HELL NO! I'd rather live on the street than go there. Yeah I love my brother and all, but no thank you. No, No, No!!! I put up with him for 14 years and that was enough! I swear, I'd rather live homeless than go there.

So of course getting my brother involved had him texting/calling me last night and its like I do not want to talk to you or whatever. Of course he doesn't listen! So I am chewing him out over my phone in texting and its like what part of leave me alone don't you get?! I even said I'd rather live on the street than go there. I am so sick of their shit and then getting him involved of all people its just like, you make it worse!!!!!!! I love my brother and all, I miss Ohio, but hell I don't miss it that much!

I even found myself saying today that I like living here. Yeah its the middle of nowhere, but its become home over the past 5 years! (almost) I don't want to honestly leave. My mom was like after the economy gets better they will be selling the house (which could be 2 years or more) and moving toward my grandparents, but its like why move and not stay?! What was the point of moving here at your age and building a new house?! I really don't get it!!!!!!

So other than the drama, Kate and I went to Hobby Lobby and got fabric to make another blanket. =) I love doing this right now. I want to make one for Ko-Ko at some point too. Sadie doesn't need one, hah! She took over mine when she was a puppy! Also it was to escape the hell of here, but I am so thankful for Kate when it comes to times like this. ;) She's sort in my shoes at the moment, in a sense. ;)

So that was the weekend. I didn't go see "Rent" for the 3rd weekend in a row, a friend of mine asked me that! LOL Nah, they aren't coming back to NC....so no more for me. I am thankful for the 2 times I did get out to see it. I hope they do this tour again, the 2 shows I was it, it was sold-out! =)

I was looking in my small curio cabinet and found 2 beanie bears that I forgot I even had. They have been like that since 2002 since the big Olympic controversy with Jamie Sale and David Pelletier/Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikhardlidze. They're entangled with my only skating medal I ever won. ;)

As for the post title....well its gone from SNOWING on Monday night to going to be in the 60's this weekend! What the heck?! Ugh! Wonder why I have so many sinus infections during the winter down here. Its called the crazy ass weather we have down here! UGH! I am looking outside my window right now and there's still a bit snow on the ground. Well its going to be gone after today! =( While yeah I'll miss it, I wish the weather would stay constantly one temperature level and not 6 billion! LOL

So there's a new post. =) Nothing else going on here, other than the crazy weather.

2 more inches of snow!

Well so much for the snowflakes around forecast they predicted, more like 2 inches of the white stuff! ;) Oh I love to see it, but love to see it go too. I am so glad its already melting and going away. I am sick of seeing it already after the one snowfall! ;) hahaha

So today to go along with the snow, it was just flat out COLD! It was more fun trying to walk up the driveway and such, cause it was solid ice. Sadie went ice skating down the driveway, it was cute, but bless her heart it scared her.

So Kate and I headed to Project Linus this morning. I think between the 2 of us we made 3 blankets but figured out a trick, I am going to cut and she's going to do the knotting. I learned to how to sew on the little patch too. =o)

So Kate and I went out to lunch and went to Best Buy, Wal-Mart and the Dollar Store. I found "Rent" the movie version on 2 disc DVD for $15! The single disc was for $10, so I got the 2 disc one. We actually went back to her house and started watching it, but I left after eatting dinner. ;)

Oh, Charlotte got like 3-4 inches of snow and poor Ko-Ko has yet to see a big snowfall. =( I thought for sure they got some last night, but they didn't. =( Poor puppy, I was like you needed to be here to get the snow both times. LOL

More Snow?!?!?!

That was from last week, but it gives meaning to the post, right?!

So we could have snow tonight. Well all you had to do was go about 30 minutes north of here and see that they got some last night! LOL Except the morons in Greensboro need to put salt down on the damn sidewalks. I had to waddle like a penquin to walk down the sidewalks and about fell on my butt! LOL

I got so excited about telling Kate about Sunday! I almost called her during intermission to tell her, but didn't! LOL =p All I can say is get out and see "Rent on Tour" because the cast is amazing as heck and its a great musical. =o)

So our weather has gone from being 50-60 to being 30 and 40's now. UGH! See what I mean by having strange weather in NC?! At least living in Ohio in the winter you expected the cold and snow/ice all winter long. Here you can be wearing pants one day and shorts the next in the winter! ;) I do miss seeing the snow each year, but we have seen it, just doesn't always stick around too long or its just in the air. I remember last winter one day just waiting for it to change over to snow, and remember watching the snowflakes start coming down and how big they were. I wish in a way we would get thunder-snow so we would have a HUGE amount! ;) hahaha

So that's it. Will post a picture if we see anything tonight. ;) I am hoping to go to Project Linus and so I hope its not too bad, but we shall see. ;)

So I will get to my Blog title here in a second. But a few things first...Marci you keep avoiding me or whatever and guess what....read this and know this will be the last time I'll trying getting in touch with you.

Another thing, what was scary about Saturday afternoon going to wal-mart....what could be so scary about that?! Right?! Well we were driving behind my friend Kate who was basically headed to the same area as we were. My mom was like I hope she doesn't drive like that when you are in the car. :rolls eyes: Whatever!

So I got a surprise birthday present from my aunt and uncle! Ticket to see Rent in Charlotte!!!! HOLY COW! I was excited! Charlotte is the same distance as Durham basically, so it was a 2 hour drive over there to spend the day. We left Saturday night and came back home Sunday. Well I dunno how they got awesome seats, but we wound up being right in the front. =) Oh my gosh, it was even more awesome the 2nd time around. Twice in a week, I might add. ;) I swear, Anthony Rapp was singing the first part of the song "Rent" right in front of me and it was like good gosh he's so-so-so cute in person!!!! Well up close he is, in Durham I didn't get that close. ;) So my aunt and I had rented the movie version so she would have a clue about what to expect, and of course she cried during it, which I knew would happen. I cried, what can I say!

So I actually got to see what happened with Angel dying and paid more attention to that this time. My aunt was boo-hooing then. I still didn't cry! Mimi dying was a totally completely different story! I was crying when Adam (Roger) sang "Your Eyes" and I tell you what Lexi Lawson who plays Mimi is my favorite Mimi to the 3 I have heard sing that part. LOL Just amazing. This cast is amazing! My aunt I don't ever stopped crying from Angel's death. LOL I just cried even more with Mimi's, knowing it was coming.

So after the show we went back to the stage door, where the cast comes out. Anthony, Lexi, Nicolette and the one who plays Collins came out. I was already in another place with being there a 2nd time, but Anthony Rapp is so sweet! He said hi to us and I just spit out that it was my 2nd time seeing the show in a week, I saw it last Sunday in Durham. I am not 100% sure if he heard me, but he smiled at me after I said it.

I am on cloud 9 for this. I had an awesome weekend. :) Can't you tell?!
