So the Winter storm that affected the south made its appearance at about 6:00pm last night. The snow starting falling on and off until I went to bed last night. I heard the sleet on and off during the night.
Woke up this morning and saw the beautiful white on the ground. =)
I am hating the ever so jumping temperatures!!!! It was 60 last weekend and we had a tornado watch! This weekend, we are under a Winter Storm Warning and we could see ice accumulation to where it could cause downed power lines and power outtages. We also on the UPSIDE could see 3-5 inches of snow. I rather see the 3-5 inches of snow over the ice! ARG!!!!!!!!
So this brings back memories of the last big FREAK storm of last year. Its funny, the Wicked tour is in Greenville, SC and they are suppose to see snow and ice down there, when Rent was here last year, we had the freak storm. Its like a yearly tradition when a touring company comes through now. hahaha =p I guess looking forward to May and knowing it will be 80 when they fly on through Durham, I kind of jinxed it. I e-mailed the stand-by for Elphaba over the weekend and I was totally blown away by her voice and had mentioned the snow storm. Then this week I heard on the radio about the show in Greenville and now this winter storm, its like oops I jinxed it saying they could look forward to 80 degree weather when they come here.
Oh well, if the power goes out, it will give me the excuse to read and finish it too, "Breaking Dawn." I am about 1/4 of the way through it, I am trying to slow down a little on it, but its hard cause its getting good. ;)
Anyways I am off here. I am going to go walk and enjoy the sun while its shining.

I hate to say it that I am HOOKED to the Twilight series. I read Twilight and New Moon in a matter of days and now on Eclipse, the 3rd in the series. I am trying to slow down so I can save something to keep my mind busy, but oh well. I told my friend Annie I probably have all 4 read by the time she saw me again. Hahaha!
So New Moon was very slow and hard to get into for me. I was upset that Edward left and yeah you learn about Jacob's history and such. Its weird, but it was good. I am anxious to see the movie at the moment! ;)
So anyways on to the next set of set of news. We finally ordered our tickets to go see "Wicked!" Finally! hahaha Well they just went on sale last week, but its been anxious awaiting event for me. So my friend Kate and her mom and I are going to see the show on May 4th. I am estatic! :D My friend Annie may come down and go also, I hope so. :)

Ok backing up to this summer, I had thought about possibly purchasing "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer just to see what the hype was all about. I had started to read the book, but then lost it. So I was like, ok I want all 4 books and put it on my Christmas list and I got all 4. :) I was excited.
So what I have to say is that you have to think past the vampire part of the series, because its not revolved around that. Its almost like Romeo and Juliet, two people in love wanting to be together, but something holds them back.
I finished Twilight this week and watched the movie. I enjoyed the book and the movie. :) Like with ALL movies, they chopped out so much of the book, but the climax was of the book was what was hard to put it back down. ;) hahaha I read 200 pages in 2 hours, and then woke up the next day and re-read it and found that I skimmed most of the pages. Hahaha! OOPSY!
So now I am into New Moon and while its "slow" at the moment, I hope it starts picking up. ;) hahaha I will probably have all 4 books read before the 3rd movie is out, hahaha! That would be nice. :D
Like with Harry Potter, I can't believe I am HOOKED into Twilight.
What a way to start off the New Year. The Ohio State Buckeyes defeated the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl!
A new decade is appond us and 10 years ago I was miserable having moved away from away from Ohio. I tore my foot up about 10 years ago also, which sucks to think back to that. Who knew that a cart-wheel could be so painful? ;)
I hope the next 10 years bring me something better than the last 10 did. I hope to be married and maybe have children by 2030, but that's a wait and see. ;)
So the New Year is off to a great start here. GO BUCKS!

2009 is QUICKLY coming to an end and its hard to believe. It seems like it was January and I was sitting watching TV and there was a blanket of snow on the ground and we were getting a new president.
So Christmas was great. It started on Christmas Eve, as it always does in my family. I open an ornament each year in the morning, this year it was a Text Addict Cell Phone ornament. Very cute, but I don't see myself as an addict. hahaha So that day I baked cupcakes for dessert for dinner that night. I helped my aunt clean the house and she got the dog bathed and such.
So that night we did my mom's family Christmas. My earrings were the big present over-all. =) I love them, but I am beginning to hate cleaning them twice a day. Arg! I also got money and won $5 on a lotto scratch-off. =o) So we headed home that same day. I got home and Christmas Day night spent it over at Kate's house. Her and her parents do so much for me. :) I got a shaw to wear at my next Broadway show to keep warm from them, I love it! :)
Jeremy and Gaia didn't come until Sunday afternoon. They stopped in Charlotte for a visit and then came here. Gaia got a metal detector from Santa and that was the big thing at first. ;) We got around to doing our family Christmas. My bigs were I got 5 books (8 including Marci's set), Veera Bradly purse and wallet, 1 hour massage and a sewing machine! :) I also got clothes, Wii games, Wii points card to download games, fabric to make stuff, blue tooth ear piece for my phone, calendar, soduku puzzles, Grey's Anatomy 4 and 5, Ghost Whisperer 4, Harry Potter 6, Enchanted, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Gaia was here till today. She probably played on the Wii for 4 hours each day. She really loved the Super Mario game I got. She had her meltdowns also and a HUGE one yesterday with my mom that turned into a full-out fight with all of us. IT IS disturbing to hear Gaia say if she goes home and says something bad happen to her mom, she'll get a treat. I was like I hope you don't do that, but I can't believe she said that to me. She clung to me yesterday because of my mom and dad.
